Recipe: Cranberry-Orange Sauce

This is one of the easiest recipes I have in my recipe box and it adds a lot of kick to all turkey dishes.

Cranberry-Orange Sauce

What You Need: 1 Package of Fresh Cranberries, 1 Orange – Zest and Juiced, 1 c of IMG_2460Sugar, 1 Cinnamon Stick

Directions:
1) Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until the cranberries all burst and has a jam like substance.
2) Remove the cinnamon stick.
3) Remove the cranberry sauce from the stove top. Let the sauce cool and then serve with your favorite turkey dish.

Tip: This dish can be made the night before you are planning on eating it. This will alleviate one thing you have to cook on Thanksgiving day when you are rushing to get everything else ready.
