Mike and I are big fans of Cooper’s Hawk Winery in Naperville. We have our two bottle monthly wine club membership that gives us the perfect excuse to do a wine tasting
(included with our wine club) and stay for lunch or dinner. We are guaranteed to go at least once a month but sometimes, like this month, we go twice. The sad thing is I get the same thing every time! I just cannot say no to the Mexican Drunken Shrimp and Dana’s Parmesan-Crusted Chicken. Once a month I will throw in Chef Matt’s Cheese Tasting with wine pairing.
So my goal for 2016 is to try something new every time we go. Follow me on Instagram (@TravelingMurphyK) to see an update of all the new things I try!
Some of the menu items I would like to try in 2016 include:
Appetizers- Bruschetta and Flatbread
Entrees- Jambalaya and Ellie’s Chicken Piccata
Dessert- Crumbled Apple Pie and Wine & Chocolate Pairing
Drink- Cooper’s Hawk Bloody Mary and Cooper’s Hawk Bellini
What is your favorite menu item from Cooper’s Hawk Winery?
TIP: The best time to go for a wine tasting is right when Cooper’s Hawk Winery opens at 11am. The tasting room is usually wide open and you will get great one-on-one service.
